Por su parte, La Libertad Avanza sufri\u00f3 un duro retroceso en los principales centros urbanos.Las elecciones municipales en Santiago del Estero empezaron a mostrar\u00a0el humor social\u00a0en medio de la crisis econ\u00f3mica que atraviesa el pa\u00eds producto de las pol\u00edticas de ajuste del Gobierno Nacional. Mientras el esquema provincial que conduce\u00a0Gerardo Zamora demostr\u00f3 una solidez territorial imbatible, la\u00a0marca oficialista de\u00a0La Libertad Avanza (LLA)\u00a0qued\u00f3 reducida a una expresi\u00f3n\u00a0de apenas un\u00a08% de los sufragios totales.Con una\u00a0participaci\u00f3n superior al 70%, el Frente C\u00edvico por Santiago obtuvo un\u00a0contundente 66% de los votos en promedio provincial. El oficialismo santiague\u00f1o no dej\u00f3 m\u00e1rgenes: se impuso en los 25 municipios y la comisi\u00f3n municipal en disputa, logrando pintar de punta a punta el mapa de la provincia de la mano de sus principales alfiles, como\u00a0Mario Benavente\u00a0en la Ciudad Capital. Incluso quebr\u00f3 resistencias hist\u00f3ricas en distritos tradicionalmente esquivos como La Banda, donde\u00a0Llamil Abdala\u00a0se coron\u00f3 con
